What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

The bridge right here in town. When I'm on my walks I'll stop, look north, look south, just admire God's work. Been here all my life and this whole town is just wonderful.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

Because it's a small town you get to know your neighbors. You know their first names. You know their grandkids. It's just a family oriented village, I love it.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

None for me, just a good place to be.

What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?

It takes a village to raise a child. When I was growing up here storekeepers, different folks my parents knew and my mom knew, they all watched us, guided us, gave us good advice, whether we wanted it or not. Just good place to be.

What do you want people to know about your town?

Simply, it's friendly. Everybody's welcome here, get to know you quick.

What is wish for your life? What is a wish for your town?

Small businesses would come back here and settle in and create some jobs for kids and farms would come back so kids could grow up and know what this country was like how I knew it. It's not here anymore and that's why kids are always in trouble. Just need family oriented business that employ kids right off the bat and keep them out of trouble.
