What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

My favorite location is Strawberry Hill. It's just barely in the South Royalton border, but it overlooks part of Tunbridge and quite a bit of South Royalton. Absolutely beautiful views. Most people don't know it as Strawberry Hill but the locals do. It doesn't get better up there.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

It's definitely the people. There's a strong sense of community here. People go out of their way to help you and you just don't find that other places. It's really nice here.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

It would be the necessities. The weather and all that plays a part but it's not so much, you live with that. The necessities,  you have to make up a list, check it twice before you head out and into town. It's a good drive to get to where you need to be to get what you need. Takes a big part of it.

What do you want people to know about your town?

It's a good place to be. It's beautiful. It's just big enough to feel like a town and just small enough to not feel like a city. You don't feel overrun and at the same time you feel free. Free to live your life as you want as is everyone around you and to be able to do it harmoniously.
