What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?
Home.
What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?
The people are friendly, the school is good for the kids. Ir eally like what it's done for the kids.
What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?
I'm from the city, so its been a difficult change. No street lights, no natural gas and city water. I miss that stuff and the conveniences but i get to see starts at night without any light pollution.
What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?
Geo has, everybody knows Geo Harniford, I'm sure you have his picture somewhere. He's probably been as much of an infulecne as much as anyone as much as South Royalton residents go.
What do you want people to know about your town?
Friendly people, accepting people. They're very sure about themselves and particular about local economy. That's one of the things that Geo is really strong on. He has a farm stand down the road, an organic farm, he's very high on keeping things local. We're very much that way also.
What is your wish for your life? What is a wish for your town?
Keep growing, but not huge. Theres been a lot of efflux from people leaving here and not many moving back in. Most of the back and forth is law students, so if someone moves there's not a lot of people coming in. Lots of houses for sale, that's more to do with the economy.
