What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

It's the Green. When my kids were really little I didn't really have a lot of yard where I used to live. We would come up here and just hang out.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

I think because it's small and we all know each other. I think everybody really tries to help each other out. As far as community sporting events, school, I think that's it.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

Probably when you want to find something to do, other than the basic - clean out your back yard or whatever.  You kinda got to travel a little bit to shop and to movies and stuff like that.

What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?

My parents. I miss them. They passed away. They grew up here too and my dad's dad grew up here. A lot of people know me through my dad and my mom. Charlie and Joyce.

What do you want people to know about your town?

That I just think it's a friendly town. It's just a small town. It's just a good town. It's a nice place.

What is wish for your life? What is a wish for your town?

The property taxes would go down so I could stay here. I guess that would be a good one. I think it's pretty nice the way it is and the residents and everything but it's been tough because I have my family property that I inherited which is almost 100 acres and I don't want to have to sell it off so I work pretty hard to keep it.
