What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

Our home. We remolded and built it the way we wanted it back in 2000 and I don't think I would change anything about it. I really love what we did and I love the spot and it's just home.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

How close knit we are as a community. How you can walk down the street and know everyone you're passing.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

Probably just not having some of the cultural things that we like to have, like plays and music although they're not that far. We don't necessarily have them right here although we have a wonderful town band and we do have some people come and perform during summertime. But we are close enough so it's really not too bad. Shopping at the bigger stores is far.

What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?

I think just the school. That's partly why I stayed here and decided to stay here and raise a family. I was very pleased and happy with the school system and I thought it would be a great place to raise a family and to have my kids get educated. I think having done so, the school and the school community has had a great positive impact on our lives.

What do you want people to know about your town?

Come visit us any time but it's our home.
