What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

The library. I love the library because it's the first place that I felt at home in South Royalton and I used to go there when I first moved here almost every day and pick out things to read and I adored the librarian at the time. I found it to be really welcoming.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

Heart. This place definitely has a ton of heart. It's kind of undefinable. I think the more I stay here the more I realize it's a really unique special place. Going to little league games in the spring with all the other parents, there's just something about it. There's so much support for the kids, there's so much community support and I like where South Royalton is headed, I think it's becoming more progressive, interesting community as every year passes.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

Jobs. Jobs, jobs jobs. It's really hard to make a living when you live in a rural community. You want to stay because it's so special to raise your children in a small community and to have access to the things you can only have access to when you live...
