What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

I would say my apartment. I like the CoOp actually they have decent food there. My apartment's actually kind of rural so I hang out there sometimes.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

Smaller to smallest. There is a much older population I think than the other places I've lived. It has a dairy supply store, I didn't know those existed.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

Just trying to find outlets to express myself – dance or singing.

What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?

Well I probably know about three people I think. My neighbor is a good friend. I don't know if any of the professors that have had a huge positive impact.

What do you want people to know about your town?

I guess it's got more character than you think first just driving in. I drove in at 2am, pouring rain,  it was freezing on May 27th or something. I was like “Where am I? This town is like super small. My apartment building is written in magic marker for the address.” It's actually, you can find stuff to do. It's actually more fun to find stuff to do in a smaller town than having to piece through all the tons of stuff. I like to be in a small town and then kind go be near a larger town.

What is wish for your life? What is a wish for your town?

I'd like to land a good job doing something I'm happy doing. For this town, maybe a more legit hangout spot for people, more of a loungey area for the students. A lot of the places are kinda keyed to an older population so maybe a little more towards the younger crowd.
