Main Street – the sidewalk, people watching.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

It's still fairly untouched because it's five miles from either interstate exit so it's not a destination for a lot of people so it's still really untouched.

What is the most challenging aspect of life in a small Vermont town like Royalton?

That's it's untouched. You have to drive anywhere to get anything else in an emergency.

What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?

Merl Howe – my ex father in law. It's why I'm here. He's actually a Tumbridge resident but he's the biggest influence on my life here.

What do you want people to know about your town?

It's one big family. Everybody knows each other, it's the quintessential small Vermont town. And you should certainly come visit but don't bring other values here.

What is wish for your life? What is a wish for your town?

That we can keep this.
