What is your favorite location, place, building, or spot in Royalton? Why?

The town green... Why, the graduations for high school, for the law school. We used to run flea markets here from the church. It was always used for something.  In the Christmas time it's the pageant.

What do you think makes Royalton unique or different from other places you have lived or visited?

Everybody knows everybody and their business. If somebody needs help it gets around and everybody can help everybody. Everybody pitches in because small towns can do that.

What Royalton resident made a positive difference in your life?

Not really, all of them together. Everybody has their own unique thing.

What is wish for your life? What is a wish for your town?

Less out-of-towners, less out-of-staters, more Vermonters affording housing here. The college folks, Vermont Law School makes the prices go up because they come in and buy at the prices that these people want and then they sell it three years later, or they only rent so they're not here permanently. I'd like to see more permanent people move in maybe, and more kids. We don't have that many kids anymore. The school is going down, down, down, because there's no kids.
